A 1971 Lamborghini Miura P400 SV (Spinto Veloce) Prototype has been sold for a $1.705 M - a new world record for a Lamborghini. The 1971 Lamborghini Miura P400 SV was make its first debut at the 1971 Geneva Auto Show and there were only 150 cars available.
Unlike the standard Miura, the SV edition sports better chassis, unique rear suspension, a more powerful engine, the lack of "eyelashes" surrounding the headlights, as well as larger rear fenders. The more powerful V12 engine churns out up to 415 HP and was paired to a 5-Speed Manual Gearbox. The SV edition can sprint from 0 to 60 mph in just 6.5 seconds with a top speed of 186 mph.
