The upgraded 2011 Chevrolet Captiva will be launched in the European market by spring 2011. The redesigned model of Chevrolet Captiva SUV not only comes with a new appearance, but also new interior, new powertrains and transmissions.
The 2011 Chevy Captiva’s new design looks lot like the 2011 Mitsubishi ASX with some addition features like new LED turn signals, redesigned side air-vents, as well as alloy wheels. In the inside, Chevrolet offers a set of all-new seat fabrics, an blue back lighting as well as a new audio system that features Aux-in, USB-port and Bluetooth connectivity.
While for the powertrain, the 2011 Chevrolet Captiva will be powered by 2.2 liter turbo-charged diesel engine which is available in either 163 horsepower or 184 horsepower. Aside from that, Chevrolet will also offer a 2.4-liter four-cylinder engine (pushes out around 171-hp) and a 3.0-liter V6 gasoline engine (pushes out 258-hp) too. The four engines will be mated to either manual or automatic six-speed transmission.
