Aston Martin unveiled a special edition model of Aston Martin DBS at the 2011 Frankfurt Motor Show, dubbed the Aston Martin DBS Carbon Edition. The special edition sports car would be the second treatment for the DBS after first being the Carbon Black edition back in 2009. The latest DBS Carbon Edition comes with two new paint jobs including Flame Orange and Ceramic Grey along with the original Carbon Black.
The new DBS Carbon Edition will be available in both coupe and cabrio variants, and will be powered by a 6.0-liter V12 engine making 510 hp and 420 lb-ft of torque. The engine is linked to either a six-speed manual or a six-speed Touchtronic II transmission.
And as its name suggests, the Aston Martin DBS gets a number of carbon fibre components and accessories such as the exterior mirror heads, the tail light surrounds, front apron, rear diffuser as well as interior trim. Furthermore, the new DBS Carbon edition also gets a new set of 10-spoke gloss black diamond turned wheels with standard black brake calipers, a black colored front grille and smoked headlights and taillights. Interior's highlights are including black and Maranello orange leather seats, Hand-laid carbon fiber surrounds, magnesium alloy steering wheel paddles and special-edition sill plaque.
Pricing wise, the Carbon Edition coupe will set you back for $287,576, while the open-top Volante will be priced from $302,576. We can expect to see this special edition model in dealerships in the Q1 of 2012.
