Official pricing of the all-new 2011 Lexus CT-200h has been announced. The five-door hatchback will be available U.S. dealerships by March of 2011 with a starting price point at $29,120 (plus $875 destination charges). This will be the least expensive car in the Lexus lineup for U.S. market.

Mark Templin, group vice president and GM of Lexus Division said :

“For just $1,000 more than the cost of a non-luxury hybrid, buyers can indulge in a CT 200h with our proven Lexus Hybrid Drive technology. Lexus hybrids currently make up 90 percent of all luxury hybrid sales in the U.S., so you can imagine how excited we are to continue our leadership in this market with the CT 200h.”

The 2011 Lexus CT-200h hybrid comes with a 1.8-liter gasoline engine mated to an electric motor. This setup is able to pump out 134 hp of power output, which allows the Lexus CT 200h to reach 60 mph from 0 in just 9.8 seconds. The Lexus CT-200h also feature fuel efficiency of up to 43 mpg city and 40 mpg highway (U.S. EPA-estimated ratings).

At that price, the 2011 Lexus CT 200h comes with standard features, include SmartAccess with push-button Start/Stop, touch sensors on exterior front-door handles, a standard eight-airbag Supplemental Restraint System, leather steering wheel, a 6-speaker, audio system with a CD player, Bluetooth connectivity, on-board satellite radio receiver, USB/iPod connectivity, 17" aluminum alloy wheels, dual zone automatic climate control and many more.
