Here it is! Porsche Cayman R is finally unveiled, this is not CS as we predicted; with R standing for responsive and refined, and obviously racing. the Cayman R will become available on sale in February 2011, with starting price tag of $66,300.

the engine makes the distinction between a standard Cayman and the R model. The Cayman R comes equipped with a tuned-up 3.4-liter six-cylinder engine that churns out impressive 330 HP. The Cayman R is able to accelerate from 0 to 60 mph in just 4.9 seconds (or 4,7 seconds using the optional Sport Chrono packages) with a top speed of up to 175 mph (with manual transmission) , or 174 mph (with PDK).

Don't stop here, the new Cayman R also offres reduced weight (a total weight of 2855 lb ), thanks to lightweight components, a new set 19 inch light wheels as well as renounced to any comfort equipment.

While for the outside the Cayman R features unique fixed rear spoiler, high-quality silver-painted wheels,various sporting highlights, black-framed headlights, black exterior mirrors and also the "PORSCHE" lettering on the side area.
