Suzuki just released the full details about the all-new 2011 Suzuki Swift since its debut a couple months ago. For Europe, the Suzuki Swift will be offered in two engine choices: a new 1.2-liter petrol that churns out 94 HP plus 87 lb-ft of peak torque as well as a tweaked 1.3-liter turbo diesel producing 75 HP and 140 lb-ft of torque. Both engines will be coupled with a five-speed manual gearbox, there is also optional four-speed automatic transmission.
The 1.2-liter gasoline model of Suzuki Swift can accelerate from 0 to 62 mph in just 12.3 seconds (using automatic transmission in 13.5 sec) with a top speed of up to 103 mph. In terms of fuel consumption, it's rated at 47 mpg. While the diesel power, the Suzuki Swift 1.3 turbo diesel can accelerate from 0 – 62 mph in just 12.7 seconds with top speed of up to 103 mph. The diesel power engine is rated at 56 mpg.
The Suzuki Swift will likely available in U.S. showrooms somewhere in August. And as for pricing, it is priced at around $14,000 to $16,000.
