Volkswagen has today revealed its new sub-compact Polo sedan in Moscow purposed for the Russian market. Buyers in U.S can expect to get the Volkswagen Polo sedan by next year as one of the automaker's effort to increase its sales in the North America to 800,000 cars annually by 2018.
To keep the price affordable, the 2011 Volkswagen Polo is equipped with a 1.6-liter gasoline inline four-cylinder engine that churns out around 105 horsepower. The engine is coupled with either five-speed manual or six-speed automatic transmissions.
It is probably that the North American 2011 Volkswagen will be available in both of the 1.2-liter turbocharged, direct injected TSI four-cylinder engine as well as the 1.6-liter engine.
