General Motors is finally rolled out the pricing details for the 2012 Buick LaCrosse with eAssist hybrid technology, the 2012 LaCrosse eAssist is priced from $29,960, that is not including a $860 destination charge. For those of you who don't know yet, the Buick LaCrosse eAssist is a fuel-economy version of the standard Buick LaCrosse which promises to provide 25% better highway fuel-economy over the current model.
The LaCrosse eAssist is powered by a hybrid system which consists of a 182-horsepower 2.4-liter four-cylinder gasoline engine and a 15-kW electric motor linked to a six-speed automatic transmission. Additionally, buyer can also choose the direct-injected 3.6-liter V6 engine to replace the 2.4-liter four-cylinder gasoline engine at no extra cost, the engine is producing 303 hp. There is no official EPA fuel-economy ratings have been unveiled for the LaCrosse hybrid. But the automaker claims that the EPA fuel-economy estimates are 25 mpg for city and 37 mpg for highway.
New amenities for the 2012 LaCrosse eAssist are including dual-zone climate control, 17-inch aluminum alloy wheels, full-color driver information screen, Buick IntelliLink, Bluetooth and USB connectivity. We can expect to see the 2012 Buick LaCrosse available in dealerships sometime in this summer.
