Ford just unleashed details of the all-new Ford Focus ST, which will make its appearance at the 2010 Paris Motor Show this month. and go up on sale in the beginning of 2012 to global markets.
It's basically the five-door model of the new Focus with a 2.0-liter turbocharged powertrain that pushes out about 250 HP. This engine is set to replace the outdated 2.5-liter turbocharged five-cylinder engine from Volvo. The power is delivered via Ford’s six-speed Powershift duo-clutch transmission or a six-speed manual transmission.
Aside from that, it also features a race-like bodykit, new styling package like new front bumper, a roof spoiler, side skirts, focused exhaust pipes, as well as 19-inch alloy wheels with 235/35 ZR 19 tires. While for the inside, the 2012 Ford Focus ST offers racing bucket seats, firmer steering wheel, a new carbon fiber trim as well as revamped instrument cluster.
