At this year's Geneva Motor Show, Ford was debuting its newest variant of the 2012 Ford Ranger Wildtrak which exclusively designed for the European segment.
The 2012 Ford Ranger Wildtrak will be available in a pair of diesel engines: they are a 2.2-liter four-cylinder powerplant developing 148 HP plus 277 lb-ft of torque as well as a 3.2-liter inline five-cylinder powerplant developing 197 HP plus 347 lb-ft of torque. To improve traveling range, the Ranger Wildtrak is equipped with an 80-litre fuel tank, which it is claimed to have one of the longest distances in its segment.
The top-range model of Wildtrak is offering plenty of amenities. It comes equipped with Bluetooth audio streaming, USB and iPod connectivity. There is also additional voice control over the radio, CD, iPod, USB, air-conditioning as well as phone. Aside from that, the car is equipped with a 5-inch color screen with satellite navigation. While for the exterior, the Ranger Wildtrak comes with a color accent on its front fascia, 18-inch wheels as well as a roof rack for carrying more loads.
The 2012 Ford Ranger Wildtrak will definitely first available on sale in the UK this November. Pricing details will be published a month ahead before the release date in that country.
