According to Autoblog, the 2012 Lexus GS as well as Scion FT-86 concept will be released at the New York Auto Show which will be held in April.
The redesigned Lexus GS will offer sportier styling plus an all-new platform that will probably be shared with the next-generation IS. Information is very rare at the point, but engine choices are expected to carryover with slight modifications for better efficiency and performance.
While, the Scion FT-86 is going to be a rebadged model of the Toyota FT-86 II concept which has been showcased at the 2011 Geneva Motor Show. We can hope power to be supplied by a Subaru-sourced 2.0-liter Boxer engine that churns out around 200 hp (149 kW /203 PS).
