The brand new 2012 Mercedes-Benz CLS is a sporty dream car for tuners to be modified, and Carlsson has recently unleashed its latest tuning creation for the new 2012 Mercedes-Benz CLS sports car. The plan is to improve both the performance along with the styling upgrades for the new Mercedes-Benz CLS.
The new 2012 Mercedes-Benz CLS gets some engine modifications for both of the CLS350 gasoline as well as diesel V6 engines. Using the gasoline engine, power is improved to 333 HP as well as 302 pound-feet of torque. While for the diesel engine, it is improved to 320 hp and 575 lb-ft, and that is a gain of 55 hp and 96 lb-ft.
With the improved HP and torque, both of the gasoline as well as diesel Mercedes-Benz CLS350s now can sprint reach 62 miles per hour in just 5.9 seconds (around 0.2 seconds faster than the normal gasoline version and 0.3 seconds faster than the normal diesel model).
Aside from that, Carlsson also included its signature C-Tronic adjustable suspension to the new 2012 Mercedes-Benz CLS350, which could be mounted with wheel choices as well as a new bodykit. The bodykit itself includes a brand new front bumper, side skirts, power-dome hood, LED fog lamps, grille, side vents as well as rear apron with diffuser. While for the interior, it comes equipped with subtle Alcantara and brushed aluminum.
