This year Detroit Auto Show got much more attention than previous. That might be due to the automotive industry has just bounced back from gloomy sales. With that, Mercedes-Benz proudly unveiled its latest creation, the 2012 S350 Bluetec, which is equipped with a diesel engine.
So far, Mercedes-Benz is the only automaker that will offer diesel power to luxury cars in the Stateside. U.S. customers is not a big fan of diesel power in cars because its history of bad behaviors like knocking noise, feels like underpowered during acceleration, oil leakage, expensive maintenance cost and many more. But that will all be changed soon thanks to Mercedes-Benz’s Bluetec technology, which seems to remove most of those bad behaviors.
All we have now is only the 2012 Mercedes-Benz S350 Bluetec' pictures, Mercedes-Benz has not yet revealed any specifications about it. All we do know now is that the Mercedes-Benz S350 Bluetec will get some sort of a 3.5-liter V6 diesel engine that is very similar diesel engine like the E-, ML- and GL-Class cars.
We will soon see that the Bluetec technology will change the way U.S. auto customers see about diesel powered cars.
