ROUSH has officially relaunched itself by debuting the 2012 Roush Stage 3 Mustang in Friday. The 2012 Roush Stage 3 Mustang (RS3 in short) comes with the accent on new graphics and styling choices plus upgraded power.
The 2012 model is powered by the same 5.0-liter 4-valve DOHC TiVC V8 engine which has been tweaked with a supercharger (R2300 ROUSHcharger) for allowing it to churn out 540HP and 465 ft/lbs of torque. About 128 hp (94 kW / 130 PS) and 75 lb-ft (102 Nm) more than the previous year model. Roush said the 2012 RS3 will only be offered with the six-speed manual gearbox.
Design-wise, Roush offers a wide variety of RS3 paint colors, new graphic striping, as well as wheel choices. The 2012 RS3 also features a new front fascia, a revamped rear valance, as well as a trunk-mounted spoiler. Other equipments include a sport-tuned suspension, a high-performance braking system, plus a set of 18-inch wheels wrapped in Cooper 2XS tires.
Set to come at Roush-authorized Ford dealerships later this month, a 2012 ROUSH 3 Mustang will have a base price of $59,945.
