Shelby American has today revealed plans to unveil the 2012 GT500 Super Snake at the 2011 New York Auto Show alongside the limited edition 2012 Shelby GT350 coupe and convertible which have been revealed at the 2011 Chicago Auto Show.
Information about the 2012 GT500 Super Snake haven't been released, but Shelby said that the model will develop 800 hp (597 kW / 811 PS). That means the car will remain the same like the 2011 year model Super Snake which produces 800 hp (597 kW / 811 PS).

The new Super Snake post title package is one of the very few vehicles that generates up to 800 horsepower on pump gas.
