The third installment of the Transformers series a.k.a "Dark of the Moon" is scheduled to hit theaters this week in America and on Wednesday throughout the world. At the same timeline, GM announced another special edition Transformers-themed Camaro sports car. The 2012 Camaro Transformers Special Edition is based on the 2012 model year and will be available on both the 2LT and 2SS models.
The 2012 Transformers Special Edition Camaro Coupe features Rally Yellow finish with black rally stripes and comes equipped with the RS package, black-painted 20-inch wheels shod in high-performance summer tires, a unique rear spoiler, Autobot Shield logos on the center caps as well as front quarter panels.
While for the interior, the car features black leather with contrasting yellow stitching for the instrument panel, center console, armrests and seats, and also Embroidered Autobot logos for the front headrests, and the center console lid.
Interested buyers can begin placing order for the 2012 Transformers Special Edition Camaro as of July with first deliveries expected to come in September. The package is offered as an extra package which costs extra $3,000 to the base price of the Camaro. The Transformers Special Edition Camaro will be offered in the North America markets, European market, China, Japan, South America, as well as the Middle East.
