2013 Scion FR-S (stands for Front-engine, Rear-wheel drive, Sport) has been officially introduced on Wednesday, it is scheduled to come in the U.S. in the spring of 2012 with starting price is rumored to be under $30,000. This model would be the North American version of the Toyota 86.
The 2013 Scion FR-S is powered by a 2.0-liter naturally aspirated four-cylinder direct-injection boxer engine with the D-4S injection system, producing 200 HP and 151 lb-ft of torque. The engine can be matched to either a 6-speed manual or a 6-speed automatic transmissions with paddle shifters.
It features a 2+2 seating layout and a large center-mounted tachometer with a three-gauge cluster.
