Rumor is going around saying that the preview production model of Alfa Romeo 4C GTA concept will be debuted in late 2012. There is no much details available at this point, but according to Automotive News, the car will be based on the KTM X-Bow and powered by a turbocharged 1.8-liter four-cylinder engine for producing 250 hp (186 kW / 253 PS).
Alfa Romeo 4C GTA will sport a "rakish, very compact" design that makes use of copious amounts of aluminum as well as carbon fiber. Due to these materials, the car will weigh around 850 kg (1,784 lbs) and offer a power-to-weight ratio of 3.4 kg/hp. Production will probably be limited to 25,000 units and pricing is probably to start at around €40,000 ($55,000).
