The 2011 Alfa Romeo Giulietta will become available on sale in European market within a month, and Fiat is already developing a sedan variant of the Alfa Romeo Guilia for 2012 to challenge the rival such as the BMW 3-Series or Mercedes-Benz C-Class here is the stateside.
Previous rumor was saying that Fiat will be joining with Chrysler to offer the new Fiat 500EV in the U.S. So, it is probably the 2012 Alfa Romeo Giulia sedan will be on sale alongside with the Fiat 500 too.
The new Alfa Romeo Giulia will be based on the Giuetta’s platform and comes equipped with Fiat’s new Multair powertrain technology as well as dual-clutch gearboxes. But it doesn’t hurt to make use of Giuletta smaller engines also, include:
* 1.4-liter turbocharged engines with 170 hp.
* 1.6-liter diesel engine with 105 hp.
* 1.75-liter TBi turbocharged with 235 hp.
