In order to celebrate the 15th anniversary of Renault Scénic compact MPV, Renault is offering a special edition Scénic 15th. The Scénic 15th is based on the Expression trim package and is available in both the 5-seat Scenic as well as the 7-seat Grand Scenic.

On the outside, the anniversary edition has dark metal exterior accents, a panoramic sunroof, tinted rear windows, Dark Metal door handles, dark metal fog lights trim, rear license plate trim as well as 16-inch alloy wheels. The special edition Scénic 15th is available in total six metallic and non-metallic body colors, including Glacier White, Cassiopée Grey, Platine Grey, Opalin Blue, Etoilé Black as well as Pearlescent White.

While for the interior, the Scenic 15th gets a “Pleven” leather upholstery, steering wheel wrapped in leather, gear lever knob and a panoramic opening sunroof. While for the standard equipments, it comes with TomTom navigation system, electronic parking brake, rear parking sensors, a sliding central storage unit and many more.

Engine options for this special edition are dCi engines developing 95, 110 and 130 HP respectively. For those of you who would like to bring this anniversary edition home then you should prepare at least €25,550 ($36,200) to do so. The car is already available for order in France.

It was in 1996 that Renault launched Scénic, the first compact MPV to enjoy a successful career. Fifteen years on, the third generation of the model continues to top its segment in France with 1.4 million vehicles sold so far. To celebrate this decade-and-a-half of success, Renault is marketing a special edition version which packs even more equipment and more dynamic styling.
The 15th special edition version is based on Scénic Expression. Its appeal has been enhanced thanks to upgraded exterior styling with several Dark Metal details, plus a specific interior finish and a panoramic opening sunroof. With regard to its equipment package, it notably features an electronic parking brake, rear parking sensors and Carminat TomTom Live navigation which provides real-time traffic information.
Six metallic and non-metallic body colours are available (Glacier White, Cassiopée Grey, Platine Grey, Opalin Blue, Etoilé Black and Pearlescent White) and the MPV can be ordered with a choice of diesel engines, with power output ranging from 95 to 130 horsepower. The list includes both the dCi 110 EDC (124g/km) and the new Energy dCi 130, the most powerful and most fuel-efficient powerplant in its class. Its CO2 emissions are 115g/km, equivalent to fuel consumption of just 4.4 litres/100km.
