Aston Martin has decided to rejuvenate the Virage by introducing the new 2012 Virage model ahead of its Geneva debut next month. The 2012 Aston Martin Virage will be available in both either coupe and volante (convertible) versions.
According to the British automaker the 2012 Aston Martin Virage sports 'the highest levels of improvement and dynamic control yet' . Aside from that the car is completing the automaker sporting GT line-up after the DBS and DB9 models.
Under the hood, both the 2012 Aston Martin Virage Coupe and Volante are equipped with Aston Martin's 6.0-litre V12 engine churning out 490 bhp (365 kW/497 PS) plus 570 Nm (420 lb-ft) of torque which is mated to a 6-speed Touchtronic II automatic transmission attached transversely on the axle in order to accomplish the perfect 50:50 weight distribution. The 2012 Aston Martin Virage is able to accelerate from 0 to 100 Km/h in just 4.6 seconds with maximum speed of up to 299 Km/h (186 mph).
Some of the technology on the 2012 Aston Martin Virage are the new Adaptive Damping System (ADS), Dynamic Stability Control (DSC) as well as Carbon Ceramic Matrix (CCM) brakes. Standard equipments are an aluminum, magnesium alloy, Walnut fascia trim, Iridium Silver center console and many more.
The 2012 Aston Martin Virage pricing was not disclosed yet, but this model is scheduled to be on sale shorty after is premiere in Geneva.
