General Motors has revealed the Chevrolet Cobalt compact sedan concept at the 2011 Buenos Aires Motor Show which takes place in Argentina from June 17 to 26. The resurrected Chevrolet Cobalt four-door sedan will be developed in South America and is expected to hit production stage in 2012.
The Chevrolet Cobalt concept is likely based on the Chevy Sonic or known as Aveo in Europen market. GM stated that the Cobalt is a global product and will be available with a choice of four cylinder units ranging in displacement from 1.3 to 1.8 liters running on ethanol (flex fuel), petrol or diesel linked to either automatic and manual gearboxs.
The concept model Cobalt features an aerodynamic kit consists of front and rear aprons, side skirts,a discreet boot lid spoiler, twin exhaust taolpipesas well as a 17-inch wheels shod in 255/45 R17 tires. While the interior is adorned with two-tone leather seats, chrome trim, twin sunroof as well as infotainment system with LCD.
