American might not recognize the Chevrolet Orlando, as the car will not available in their states anytime soon. Chevrolet Orlando is available for both Canada and Europe markets only. And today, GM just unleashed official details on the 2011 Chevrolet Orlando, which will make its world premiere at the 2010 Paris Motor Show.
The Chevrolet Orlando is basically a production model of car concept seen at the 2008 Paris Auto Show. Orlando features crossover style design with seats for up to 7 passengers. It offers low swept roof line with the muscular protruding wheel-arches as well as housing for 16, 17 or 18 inch wheels.In the interior, the Orlando offers the newest design cues form the Chevrolet Corvette, like dual cockpit and ambient blue backllighting.
Under the hood, It offers three of Chevrolet’s latest fuel efficient engines, include a 1.8 liter gasoline engine with total power output of up to 141 hp and a pair of Chevrolet’s 2.0 liter diesel engines, which produce 131 hp or 163 hp respectively.
Production of the Chevrolet Orlando will begin as of October, and it will available on sale in both Europe and Canada in the beginning of 2011.
