Chrysler just made official the Tradesman package for its 2011 Dodge Ram 1500 at the 2011 Chicago Auto Show. The automaker said that the 2011 Dodge Ram 1500 Tradesman is targeted to small businesses and customers working in construction jobsites or commercial fleets.
Specs wise, The 2011 Dodge Ram 1500 Tradesman comes equipped with a 5.7-litre V8 engine producing 390 HP plus 370 lb-ft of torque. The engine coupled with a 5-speed automatic gearbox. Other 'goodies' offered on the 2011 Dodge Ram 1500 Tradesman include a standard Class IV trailer hitch, engine as well as transmission cooling, heavy-duty shock absorbers, stabilizer bars (both front and rear), a 3.55:1 rear axle ratio, a 160-amp alternator,a 700-amp maintenance free battery, a set of 17-inch steel wheels, air conditioning, an AM/FM/CD/MP3 media center radio, ix speakers, automatic headlamps, chrome grille trim, and many more.
The 2011 Dodge Ram 1500 Tradesman comes with a starting price point at 22,780 USD. Buyers have preference to choose between 4x2 or 4x4 traction.
