Hyundai has unleashed new details about the facelifted i10. Featuring a ‘fluidic sculpture' design, the updated model gets a new front fascia, revised lighting units, as well as a revamped rear bumper.
Inside, the cabin has been updated with a new instrument cluster (plus an eco-shift indicator), central locking, power windows, restyled seats, air conditioning, chrome accents, a six-speaker audio system as well as a rear seat cup holder.
Under the hood, buyers can expect to get 1.0-liter three-cylinder engine which capable of producing 68 hp (51 kW / 69 PS) which allows the car to sprint from 0-100 km/h in just 14.8 seconds with a top speed of 150 km/h (93 mph). It offers fuel consumption of 67.3 mpg (imp) and CO2 emissions of just 99 g/km with the help of engine start / stop system.
If the engine is not good enough for you, there is another option of the 1.3-liter four-cylinder engine for any of you who feel the need for speed. The 1.3-liter four-cylinder produces 85 hp (63 kW / 86 PS) and allows the car to run from 0-100 km/h in just 12.2 seconds with a top speed of 169 km/h (105 mph) and average 61.4 mpg. For automatic transmission mode, the engine sprint from 0-100 km/h takes 13.8 seconds with the lower top speed of 159 km/h (99 mph), and lower fuel efficiency of 51.4 mpg.
The updated i10 will be hitting UK dealerships in March with four trim levels and bearing a price tag of £9,195 (OTR).
