Audi UK just added another entry-level model of Audi TT lineup which is powered by the smaller 1.8-liter TFSI petrol engine. Called Audi TT 1.8 TFSI Coupe, the coupe is available in both "Sport" and "S Line" variants with prices begin from £24,070.
The new TT coupe gains the power from the four-cylinder turbocharged 1.8-litre TFSI petrol engine sourced from the Roadster, which is capable of delivering 158bhp and 250Nm (184 lb-ft) of torque. The engine can be paired to either a six-speed manual or Audi's optional seven-speed S tronic twin-clutch automatic. It allows the coupe to complete 0 to 62mph sprint in 7.2 seconds with a top speed of 140 mph while keeping the economy figure as low as 44.1mpg UK.
Standard features and equipments for the 2012 Audi TT coupe are 17-inch alloy wheels, electronic climate control, leather and Alcantara seats and a Concert audio system (only for Sport version). Furthermore, the S Line trim offers 18-inch alloy wheels, a lowered sports suspension, a short-shift gearbox for manual versions, S Line badging and also xenon headlights with LED lamps.
