Fiat just unveiled the new 2012 Fiat 500 Abarth in the U.S. ahead of its official debut at the 2011 Los Angeles Auto Show on November 18.
The 500 Abarth U.S.-specs is powered by the new 1.4-liter MultiAir turbocharged four-cylinder engine, but the automaker didn't mention any details about the performance figures so we need to wait a bit longer to reveal it. Meanwhile, the 500 Abarth European specification is powered by a 1.4-liter turbocharged engine producing 140HP or 160HP (for the Essesse package).
Furthermore, the 2012 Fiat 500 Abarth U.S.-specs also features a stiffer suspension, new braking system, twin tail pipes, unique alloy wheels s well as a aero kit comprising of a bespoke front bumper, side skirts, a roof wing and also a rear diffuser.
