The Alfa Romeo 4C Concept has just been officially launched at the 2011 Geneva Motor Show today. The Alfa Romeo 4C Concept is a two-seater sports car.
The Alfa Romeo 4C Concept is powered by the rear-mounted 1.8-litre turbocharged engine producing 200 HP (147 kW). Engine is coupled with a new TCT automatic twin dry clutch transmission. When accelerating from 0 to 62 mph the Alfa Romeo 4C Concept needs less than 5.0 seconds with a top speed of 250 Km/h (155 mph). The Alfa Romeo 4C Concept is using rear-mounted engine to achieve a 40/60 weight distribution on both front and rear axles.
The car concept weighs just 850 Kg and measures 4 meter in length, and thanks to the lightweight materials that have been applied to the car like the chassis (carbon fiber) and body structure (aluminum). The Alfa Romeo 4C Concept is expected to ready to production and become available in the market sometime in 2012.
