At the upcoming 2012 Geneva Auto Show, Maserati will be showcasing a new model that is planned to replace the best selling GranTurismo S. The successor of GranTurismo S is the new Maserati GranTurismo Sport that comes with a more powerful engine and some select minor changes to its exterior and interior.
2012 Maserati GranTurismo Sport will be powered by a 4.7-liter V8 engine with 460hp ( 343 kW / 466 PS ) or 10bhp higher when compared to the outgoing engine used on the S model. This will allow the model to complete 0-62mph acceleratation in less than 5 seconds.
While for the visual aspects, Maserati GranTurismo Sport features new redesigned front fascia with larger air vents, tweaked headlamps with DRL Led technology and darker tail lights.
Expect more details to be announced at the Geneva Auto Show next month.
