Rolls Royce just started its pursuit into alternative drive-trains by launching the new Rolls Royce Phantom 102EX Electric, which looks lot like the regular model, except it gains the power from a pair of electric motors rather than a twin turbocharged V12 engine.
Each electric motors was rated at 145 Kw, the new Phantom 102EX Electric can churn out a total of up to 290 kW with 800 Nm of torque, which are pretty good to sprint the car from 0 to 60 mph in less than 8 seconds with a top speed of up to 160 Kmph. The Rolls Royce Phantom 102EX Electric can drive up to 200 Km electrically. The 120EX comes with four charging units, which allow single phase charging (around 20 hours for a full recovery), three-phase charging (around 8 hours to recover ) as well as a wireless charging unit using an induction mode.
