Independent Belgian automaker, Imperia Automobiles has re-awaking from the dead, by announcing the 2011 Imperia GP at the 2011 Belgian Auto Show a month ago.
Despite the 2011 Imperia GP offers an astonishing classic design, under the hood consists of modern hybrid technology which blends a 1.6-litre turbo plant along with an electric motor.
The 1.6-litre turbo plant cranks out 210 HP plus 250 Nm of torque (184 lb-ft) while the electric motor cranks out an extra 136 HP plus 250 Nm of torque. The combination of both engines has a total output of 346 PS, able to sprint the 2011 Imperia GP from 0 to 100 km (62 mph) in just 4.0 seconds. While using electrical power alone, the car is able to sprint from 0 to 62 mph in just 6.0-seconds. The 2011 Imperia GP can reach up to 70 Km of pure electric driving.
While for fuel consumption figures, the 2011 Imperia GP needs only 1.9-litres per 100 Km (123 mpg) while CO2 emissions are rated under 50 grams/Km.The car will be available in dealerships bearing a price tag of 120,360 Euro.
