German tuner Irmscher is going to showcase the i SELECTRA concept at the upcoming 2011 Geneva Motor Show which will starts tomorrow. The i SELECTRA concept is basically a new model of the all electric Irmscher 7 SELECTRA.
In terms of performance, The Irmscher i SELECTRA is able to churn out 238 HP and 800 Nm of torque. The figure is generated from a 1,000 W electric motor connected to a lithium-ion-phosphate battery pack. According to the German tuner, the car offers a driving range of up to 124 miles. Interestingly the car is able to recover 80 % of its power in less than an hour, while for full charge, the car needs between 3 to 8 hours.
The two-seater Irmscher i SELECTRA concept is also equipped with an aluminium frame, hydraulic shock absorbers as well as brakes. The car was developed in order to fulfill demands for environmentally friendly vehicle. The Irmscher i SELECTRA will be priced at 90,000 Euro.
