Land Rover just confirmed that the 2012 Range Rover Evoque has reached production model and going to make its appearance on the Paris Motor Show. The 2012 Range Rover Evoque luxurious SUV “coupe” is lighter yet more efficient compared to the other models that ever came out of Land Rover. Just for recall, The 2012 Range Rover Evoque is based on the LRX concept car, which is smaller as well as leaner compared to the traditional SUV offerings from the automaker. With strong, clean and contemporary design, Land Rover Evoque is targeting the new generation of customers.
Under the hood, buyers will not get a V6 or V8, but instead the Evoque comes equipped with a 2.0-liter Si4 turbocharged engine for producing 240 HP. The new Si4 engine or best known as Ecoboost from Ford is much more fuel efficient. The power will be delivered through a six-speed automatic transmission. Aside from that, the Land Rover Evoque features standard electric power steering, a new electrical system, as well as a MagneRide adaptive dynamics suspension system to keep smooth drive.
While for interior, the Range Rover Evoque offers elegant leather seats along with a center console that holds lots of the car’s electronic controls. Aside from that, buyers cane expect to get an eight-inch touchscreen for infotainment center, 17-speaker Meridian sound system and many more.
The new Range Rover Evoque is to go on sale by fall of 2011 within three design themes, includes Pure, Prestige and Dynamic.
