Following a number teaser photos of the upcoming LF-Gh concept, Lexus has today made official the new Lexus LF-Gh Hybrid before its official debut at the upcoming 2011 New York Auto Show. Just for refresher, the LF-Gh stands for Lexus Future Grand-Touring Hybrid.
Kengo Matsumoto, GM of Toyota’s Lexus Design Division said :
“For this concept, Lexus designers studied characteristics that are often considered contradictory and difficult to execute together. The captivating design of the LF-Gh concept examines the possibility of balancing what are normally opposing qualities, such as style and functionality.”
And like its name suggests, the LF-Gh Concept will certainly be powered by a hybrid system. Specifications of the engine have yet to be announced, but it will comply with the low emissions standards of the future.
