Suzuki has recently previewed the upcoming 2012 Swift Sport variant ahead of its official debut at the 2011 Frankfurt motor show which will be held next month. The Swift Sport will be powered by a 1.6 liter four-cylinder M16A engine linked to a newly-developed six-speed manual gearbox with a total output of 136 PS (100 kW / 134 bhp) and 160 Nm (118 lb-ft) of peak torque.
The upcoming Swift Sport is claimed to be more responsive than the predecessor as it has internal rebound springs and a redesigned rear-suspension design. For the exterior, it will feature the identical design as the Swift S-Concept revealed at the Geneva Show last March.
