Chrysler has yesterday debuted the all-new 2012 Chrysler 300C SRT8 at the 2011 New York auto show. The new Chrysler 300C SRT8 is more powerful and damn sharp-looking, thanks to a massive 6.4 liter Hemi V8 unit good for developing 465-hp (347 kW / 471 PS) channeled to the rear wheels via a five-speed automatic gearbox.

Performance wise, the 2012 MY 300C SRT8 can sprint from 0 to 60 mph (96 km/h) in the "high 4-second range," before hitting a top speed of 175 mph (282 km/h). There is no detail for fuel economy figures, it's expected to come closer to model launch.

Exterior highlights of the 2012 300C SRT8 includes a new set of seven-spoke 20-inch forged aluminum wheels, new front grille, rear fascia, side sills, new 4-inch round dual exhaust tips, a modified SRT8 decklid badge, 20-inch forged-aluminum wheels as well as a boot lid spoiler. There is also an optional Black Chrome package which features black chrome upper,lower grille surrounds,rear valance strip as well as exclusive black chrome wheels.

Interior highlights include a new leather-wrapped steering wheel, carbon-fiber highlights, a new instrument panel, an optional Harman Kardon audio system, an 8.4-inch touchscreen display, sport seats as well as blue-lit instrument panel.

Expect to see the new 2012 300 SRT8 to come reach Chrysler's showrooms in North America sometime in Q3 of this year.
