The new Mazda5 minivan is pretty amazing and yet affordable compact van. And we will soon get a Nissan version of this model as Mazda has just announced that it will furnish the Mazda5 minivan to Nissan starting in May 2011.
But the Nissan minivan model will only be offered in Japanese market at first. And as usual, nothing in Japan stays in Japan, sooner or later it will be released to the world too. And Probably Nissan is going to test its own Mazda5 minivan model in Japan before it will launch for global markets.
There have been lots of ventures between both automaker Mazda and Nissan in Japan, like Mazda Bongo Van/Truck to Nissan bearing the name of Vanette and so on.
