Porsche just revealed plans to debut a new hybrid at the Geneva Auto Salon. Though, the automaker is staying mum on specifics, the car will probably be the Panamera Hybrid.
And if the car is indeed the Panamera Hybrid, buyers can expect to get the same engine found on the Cayenne S Hybrid, a supercharged 3.0-liter V6 engine producing 333 hp (249 kW / 337 PS) along with an electric motor that unleashes 47 hp (34 kW / 48 PS). This will probably provide the car a total power output of up to 380 hp (283 kW / 385 PS) plus 428 lb-ft (580 Nm) of torque.
Interestingly, the Panamera Hybrid can run on the electricity mode alone and have an average fuel consumption rate of under 9 L/100km (around 26.1 mpg US). If that doesn't attract you, the electric motor along with gasoline engine can work together to produce extra power under hard acceleration.
The car will be announced on the show March 1st, alongside the Boxster S as well as 911 Black Editions.
