Renault has recently unveiled the coming of another Gordini-badged model to its lineup, in the form of the Renault Clio Gordini. The model is based on the the Clio GT and will be offered in both three- or five-door versions. It was inspired by the success of the Clio RS which takes up to 27 percent of total European sales for the Renault RS.

The Renault Clio Gordini can be powered by either the Euro 5 1.6-liter 16V petrol unit with 128 hp, or the 1.5-liter DCI diesel unit with 105 hp. The model features a modest body kit which has glacier white accents, classic Gordini contrasting stripe for the bonnet and roof, fog lights, 16-inch Turini alloy wheels with diamond finish, suspension setup sourced from the previous GT version, a dual exhaust system with twin exhaust pipes.

While for the interior, it has two-tone seats, gloss black trim, alloy sports pedals, automatic climate control, satin chrome effect gearknob with blue Gordini badge, audio system with steering wheel commands, Bluetooth connectivity, TomTom Live navigation system as well as personalised floor mats.

The Renault Clio Gordini will become available on sale in European countries such as Austria, Belgium, UK, Croatia, France, Germany, Italy, Netherlands, Portugal, Serbia, Slovenia, Spain, and also Switzerland. Buyers can begin placing their orders as yesterday with starting prices of €18,450 for the three door model and €19,050 for the five doors model.
