The De Tomaso Deauville has been a little bit disappointing, but a new report is suggesting the highly-anticipated Pantera resurrection will be showcased at the 1011 Los Angeles Auto Show this November.
Details are poor at this point, but the Pantera is hoped to have a Pininfarina design, a featherweight aluminum chassis, as well as a V8 engine that cranks out 550 hp (410 kW / 558 PS). Production is expected at 2,000 units per year and the model will be developed at De Tomaso's manufacturing plant near Turin, Italy.
As you might remember, the recently reconstituted De Tomaso is direct by Gian Mario Rossignolo - a former Fiat executive - who has intends to release a three-model range which includes the Pantera coupe, the Deauville crossover, as well as a luxury sedan.
