UK division of Audi just added two new special edition models, the Black Edition and the Contrast Edition and also new more powerful TDI versions to the Audi A1 supermini range in the UK.
Audi A1 Contrast Edition can be configured with all engines in the A1 lineup with the exception of the 1.4 TFSI engine. It comes with Sport trim features such as an aero kit, 17-inch bi-color wheels, and of course contrasting colour for the roof line and the aero kit with an optional double-blade roof spoiler. This is priced at £1,350.
While the A1 Black Edition comes equipped with 1.4-litre TFSI petrol engine delivering 185PS or the 2.0-litre TDI engine with 143PS. The Black Edition is based on the S line variant and features a black styling treatment for the single-frame grille surround and number plate holder, dark tinted rear windows, 18-inch alloy wheels and Xenon Plus headlights with LED daytime-running lights. Additionally, it also gets full electronic climate control as well as Audi Sound System speaker upgrade with 180 watts of output. This is priced at £1,100
The new 2.0-liter TDI engine with 143 PS (105 kW / 141 hp) that good for accelerating from 0 to 100 km/h (62 mph) in just 8.2 seconds with a top speed of 135 mph (217 km/h).
