Last Tuesday, Tesla Motors unveiled the final pricing and specifications for their all-new 2013 Telsa Model S sedan that will be available on sale in 2012.
Telsa Model S will be available in 4 battery packs, including, 40kWh, 60kWh version, 85kWh version and 85kWh (Performance version). All variants has 19-inch wheels and tires, a universal mobile connector as well as a 17-inch touchscreen display.
The base model of Model S sedan comes equipped with a 40kWh battery that will allow the sedan to has a driving range of 160 miles using a single charge. It's claimed to be capable of completing 0-60 mph time of 6.5 seconds with a top speed of 110 mph. The base Model S will be priced at $57,400 including an eight-year/100,000-mile warranty.
The next is a midlevel Telsa model S with a 60kWh battery pack, it is claimed to have a range of 230 miles per charge. It is priced at $67,400, including a 125,000-mile warranty.
Telsa model S with a 85 kWh battery pack which will set you back for $79,900. The battery pack has a 300-mile range and can exceed a 125 mph.
The last option is the 85kWh Performance version has a range of 300 miles per charge and can sprint from 0 to 60mph in 4.4 seconds with a top speed of 130mph. Furthermore, it comes with nappa leather upholstery, carbon-fiber exterior accents, active air suspension as well as high-performance wheels and tires. It will set you back for $69,900 (after federal tax credits) and will be available in summer.
