[2011 Detroit Auto Show] Toyota has introduced its new Prius C Concept at the show. This new car concept might be ready for production somewhere in the next year, which will be a new addition to the Toyota’s hybrid lineup.
Toyota claims that its Prius C production model would be the most fuel-efficient hybrid model that will ever made by Toyota’s factory that doesn’t require a plug-in electrical outlet. Toyota Prius c Concept is deigned to appeal young buyers who want an eco-sensitive, high-mileage, yet fun-to-drive car.
The Prius C Concept offers the five-door design with a hatchback platform, which we see very similar to the Scion Xa hatchback. The Toyota Prius C is probably meant to challenge the Honda Fit.
More details will come soon, so stay tuned.
