Edo Competition has released a new tuning program for BMW M5 (E60) Touring dubbed the M5 Dark Edition. The package offers new cosmetic upgrade and of course performance upgrades.

Visual upgrades for the BMW M5 Touring include exterior and interior upgrades, the BMW M5 Dark Edition's exterior has a new aero kit consisting of a front apron with Extra lights, a rear apron for housing bespoke exhaust tips and a rear spoiler. The M5 Dark Edition is also riding on new 20-inch black-painted alloy wheels with a sliver rim and wrapped with Dunlop tires 255/35 R20 front and 285/30 R20 rear. While for the interior, Edo Competition BMW M5 Dark Edition features a variety of finest materials ranging from leather upholsteries and carbon trim parts to a modified speedometer with white dials and a backlit logo.

Performance modification is focusing on power boost on the 5.0-liter V10 engine using recalibrated ECU, high-flow air filters, new sports catalysts and a specially designed high-performance exhaust system. The result is pretty impressive, the M5 Dark Edition produces 542 bhp and 560 Nm of peak torque, jump from the serial's 493 bhp and 521 of peak torque. This new performance number allows the car to do 62-mph sprint in just 4.2 seconds or drop by 0.5 seconds from the serial model with a top speed of 305 km/h.
