Aftermarket specialist from Germany, DMC just showcased a new tuning package for the regular Ferrari California convertible. Called DMC 3S California, this package upgrades both styling and performance of the hardtop roadster.
First, the tuner adds a new body kit made of a special silver carbon fiber. That’s why this name is 3S: Surfista Silver Star. The body kit consists of a silver carbon fiber front splitter, silver carbon fiber rear diffuser, silver carbon fiber apron for the license plate surround. Aside from that, the California convertible also received a new set of ADV1 wheels in 21 and 22 inch sizes
While for the performance upgrade, DMC has modified the V8 engine found on the model to deliver 606 PS (446 kW) instead of 460 PS (338 kW). This power boost is achieved by means of a turbo-charging system with enlarged injection nozzles and a new tailor made crankshaft, new sportier exhaust system and upgraded ECU. Using this configuration, the car has managed to complete 0 to 100 km/h acceleration in 3.9 seconds with a top speed of 325 km/h.
DMC 3S Ferrari California will be premiered at the upcoming Top Marques show in Macau.
