Wiesmann just revealed plans to make official the Spyder concept at the 2011 Geneva Motor Show. Details are very rare at this point, but the automaker said the concept will be "powerful and ultra-light yet purist." Moreover, the Spyder concept will be smaller compared to the MF4 Roadster and feature an "extreme" appearance as it lacks doors as well as a windscreen.
According to Friedhelm Wiesmann :
"We want to test the marketability of such cars in Geneva. The feedback of customers, partners and experts has high influence on the consideration of advancing the Spyder model."
If the Spyder concept is getting a green light for production, it might become available on sale as early as next year.
