For the first time, the first Maybach 57S Coupe or best known as the Cruiserio made its premiere at Daimler headquarters in Stuttgart, Germany. The Cruiserio is currently up for sale in Middle East or to be more precise Saudi Arabia.
The effort is actually being underwritten with a €70 million (approximately $ 93M) investment from AutoKingdom of Saudi Arabia. During three years Xenatec as well as AutoKingdom anticipate making 100 units.
The Cruiserio is manufactured by Xenatec and was designed by Burch Fred Hardt. Cruiserio's design is based on the Maybach 57S coupe that has a sporty and conservative appearance.
In terms of mechanical features, the Cruiserio is powered by the same 6.0-liter V12 engine along with 603 hp and 738 lb-ft of torque. This lets the coupe to reach 62 mph just in five seconds, and with a peek speed of 171 mph. The Cruiserio is touted to has an average fuel consumption of 14.2 mpg US.
Xenatec Cruiserio is available in limited units, only 100 units that is available for sale with a starting price at €675,000 ($892,455).
